Maybe it's a smile, maybe it's a hairstyle, maybe it's what they're wearing, maybe it's a tattoo, maybe it's just a vibe or a combination of everything. KH zine celebrates black culture through portraiture. Vogue.com wrote about the Afro Punk issue saying, "KH Zine has become a physical keepsake of the festival, one that offers honest, unfiltered portraiture to connect with the rebel spirit of the festival." The zine is published by photographer Kevin Harry, who is also the Creative Director. Vice.com describes KH as "a celebration of the city’s diversity through fashion and brings visibility to those who are often left out of mainstream fashion magazines." The photos were taken at festivals and parades around the metropolitan New York City area. Each issue is signed.
